Welcome to Providence. We are excited to share our dynamic Lower School program with you. The activities and deadlines listed below are an important part of the admission process for students entering Grades 1–6.
All supplemental forms made available through the online application must be printed and submitted as instructed.
Applications received by February 10, 2017 will receive priority consideration.
Assessments and Parent Interviews
Readiness assessments and parent interviews will be done Saturday, February 25, 2017 on the Lower School campus. Assessments will only be administered for families who have submitted an application. The Office of Admission will contact you to schedule the assessment once the completed application has been received. Assessments take approximately one hour. At the same time, parents will have a short family interview with a school official. If a family is not able to attend the February 25 assessment and interview day, an individual assessment may be scheduled with the Office of Admission.
New student applicants for grades 1–6 are required to submit a current teacher’s observation and recommendation. You may download the Teacher’s Observation Form from the Applications and Forms section of the online application. The school at which your child is currently enrolled should send the completed form directly to:
