The Providence Fund is the school’s annual giving program that runs each year from July through June. The annual campaign provides an opportunity for families, friends, staff, and community members to give unrestricted support for the basic operation of the school—including faculty compensation, the academic program, and extracurricular activities. Like most independent schools, Providence depends on the support and good will of the communities it serves to enlarge the breadth of its impact and strengthen its effectiveness.
The Providence Fund ensures that the school can sustain its demanding liberal arts curriculum, growing off-campus experiences, and significant Christian discipleship and mentorship opportunities, as well as its extensive programs in the arts, athletics, and campus life.
By providing financially for the school’s annual operating budget, the Providence Fund has a direct bearing on the quality of a Providence education and is the highest development priority set by the school’s Board of Directors.
It is our hope and encouragement that all members of our community will share this responsibility and choose to support the Providence Fund at whatever level they are comfortable.
Every gift counts and with every donation you create a legacy through Providence: a school that prepares young people for college and for a life that honors God.
2015-2016 GOAL $250,000 with 100% PARTICIPATION
The Board of Directors set a goal to raise $250,000 from the 2015-2016 Providence Fund. More important, they are seeking 100% participation from our constituent communities: the Board of Directors themselves, parents of current students, faculty and staff, and alumni, no matter the size of the gift.
The list below provides a few of the examples where gifts to the Providence Fund will be spent. Unrestricted gifts allow funds to be used for the highest priority needs and are the preferred way for you to give to Providence. If you wish to direct your gift to one of the items listed below, however, please contact the Head of School or Associate Director of Advancement or write your designation on the giving form.
