Dr. Lisea to Speak at Good Friday Breakfast

April 4, 2017 by Elaine Rottman

Providence’s head of school, Dr. Scott Lisea, is the featured speaker at the Channel Islands YMCA 40th Annual Good Friday Breakfast.

The YMCA presents this breakfast every year to honor the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. This event at Fess Parker’s DoubleTree Resort promotes community fellowship with a morning of inspiration, music, and a short message from a community leader. The breakfast is held on Good Friday, April 14, 7:00 am-8:45 am.

Scott Lisea and his wife, Jamie, are the parents of three sons: one married and in the local workforce, one in college, and one a senior in high school. They enjoy walks on the beach with their dog, Henri Nouwen, and are active in the community, hosting a Young Life meeting for special needs teens in their home every week.

The Liseas have enjoyed a long association with the YMCA. Jamie’s father, Bob McEwen, directed the “Y” in Lancaster, California for many years while Jamie was growing up.
