Spring Choral Concert Is Dedicated to Those Affected by Fire and Mudflow

April 13, 2018 by Elaine Rottman

The Providence spring choral concert features the high school Chorale and Chamber Singers, the middle school Chorus, and the youth ensemble, Laudate, which includes children from grades 3-6.

This year’s concert is dedicated to the families who were affected by the Thomas Fire and Montecito mudslides and debris flow.

The stone walls of the beautiful Trinity Episcopal Church will reverberate with a mix of choral music spanning the ages, featuring an eclectic program of folk songs, hymns, and world music, ending with a rousing gospel song, “Cornerstone,” all under the direction of Rebecca Leftwich Hodson, Providence’s director of performing arts.
