Seniors Present Top Three Thesis Projects – Video Now Available

Every year, Providence seniors undertake the major task of writing a capstone research paper and presenting their findings to their thesis advisor, teachers, and peers. These presentations are the culmination of hundreds of hours of research, writing, and interviewing and typically reflect a Christian world and life view on the chosen topic.

The top three finalists were invited to present to their peers and members of the school community on Wednesday, May 15. Video of those presentations is now available.

The 2019 winners are:

Maggie Coffin – “Justice for the Jailed – Prison Reform.” Watch video

Lauren West –  “Inside the Mind of the Anorexic: Addicted to Starvation.” Watch video

Jake Yonally – “A Tiger by the Tail: Replacing the Federal Reserve System.” Watch video

 

In addition, a new award for best written paper was presented to:

Katie Gerawan –“Rivers of Viscera: The Enjoyment of Violence in Film”
