State of the School Meeting set for January 19, 2021

January 13, 2021 by Elaine Rottman

“Lift Up Your Eyes” is the theme of this year’s annual State of the School meeting, an online presentation Tuesday, January 19, at 6:30 pm. The virtual experience includes pre-recorded segments bringing the campus to parents who aren’t able to have much access this year with COVID-19 prevention policies plus live reports and Q&A with Providence School leaders.

All school families—and anyone interested—is invited to participate in this experience of looking up to God and out at our community in an hour of worship, information sharing, and reflection on the state of our beloved school.

During the one-hour meeting, participants will hear:

  • Worship music led by our talented Lower School band

  • Updates on the overall strength of the school from Board Chair Matt LaBrie

  • A recap of the realities of the moment and a vision for the future from our new head of school, Soo Chang

  • Mission-in-action stories from our faculty and administrative division leaders, Tracy Larson, Matt Knoles, Rod Meadth, Caroline Corazza, and Tawny Kilpper

  • Plans for the 2021–2022 school year

  • Live answers to pre-submitted questions

Parents and students are welcome to submit questions they would like to hear answered during this school family meeting by sending them to providencenews@providencesb.org.

Please use the registration button to receive the Zoom webinar link. A recording of the presentation will be available to all who have registered.

We look forward to celebrating God’s enduring faithfulness to our school in the midst of stormy times and to joining together to look up in anticipation, prepared for whatever new blessings the future might hold.
