ONEderful Night

God is on the move at Providence

This annual event gives the members of our Providence family an opportunity to share how their lives have been shaped and changed because of their Providence experience.

“We chose the theme ONE for this event because we are one school with one mission. We may have two campuses, but our school has one purpose—to provide the tools for a lifetime of learning; learning that expands both the mind and heart. We want to launch young people who are believers and scholars,” says Dr. Scott Lisea, head of school.

On November 16, beginning at 6 pm at the Cabrillo Arts Pavilion, parents of Providence students and anyone else who is interested are invited to join Dr. Lisea for a ONEderful Night. The event features fellowship, a casual soup and salad dinner, and sharing ONEderful stories told by a senior student (Megan Varchetto), an alumnus (Faith Emerson ’12), two current student families (Rolman and Patsy Mazariegos and Tim and Anna Pryko), a teacher (Bruce Rottman), and a board member who also happens to be a current parent and an alumnus (Michele Weslander Quaid, SBCS ’97).

The stories will remind us why,” says Dr. Lisea. “Why? Because everyONE counts at Providence. EveryONE adds truth, beauty, and excellence. Every story reminds us that God is the ONE who binds us together and it is under His grace that we live.”
