Summer Camps

  • SCIENCE, ART, & SPORTS MULTI-CAMP  |  entering grades 1-6

Summertime fun is coming your way! Spend an hour each day in age-appropriate sports activities, hands-on science labs, and creative art projects, taught by experienced teachers who love to have fun with kids. Separate groups for students entering grades 1-3 and 4-6.

  • ENGINEERING – ROBOT CITY  |  Ages 9-12 

Calling all engineers! Come help build Robot City—the city of the future! Design architecture, build it from your plans, and add power to make it come alive. Create 3D-printed add-ons, and then fill the city with real robots that move and interact using your code. Experienced mentors will help and teach you along the way. 

June 25-29, 8 am – 12 pm, Providence Lower Campus (3723 Modoc Road), $250 (includes take-home tech kit).

  • TENNIS  |  entering grades 3-8
  • Learn the basics or work on developing your skills. This camp, run by Providence head tennis coach Christina Klein (who also is the assistant tennis coach at Santa Barbara City College), will grow campers as players while they have a lot of fun. Open to boys and girls.

    Week One:  June 18-21, 9 am – 12 pm, Santa Barbara Municipal Tennis Courts (1414 Park Place), $90 (includes t-shirt). 

    Week Two:  June 25-28, 9 am – 12 pm, Santa Barbara Municipal Tennis Courts (1414 Park Place), $90 (includes t-shirt). 

    Register for both weeks for a discounted rate of $150 ($75 per week).

  • YOUTH BASKETBALL  |  entering grades 3-7

Coach Steve Stokes will teach campers the skills that helped his Providence basketball program win three consecutive undefeated league championships. Camp activities include championship-level instruction, full-court games, camp awards, contests with prizes, a camp t-shirt for each camper, and hearing from daily guest speakers. Past speakers have included a former professional player, trainers for NBA players, college coaches, college players, and more athletes with inspiring stories. Open to boys and girls.

June 18-21, 9 am – 12 pm, St. Mary’s Seminary (1964 Las Canoas Road), $85 (includes t-shirt).

Add on the advanced camp the previous week for a discounted rate of $140 ($70 per week) for the two weeks.

  • ADVANCED BASKETBALL  |  entering grades 6-9
